5G is coming to Apple's iPhone 12, which may be bigger than we think

About two years ago, there was a lot of hype claiming that 2019 would be the year for 5G to take over and give us fast connection capabilities. But this is not exactly the case. Partly due to the uneven 5G coverage-which has improved over the past few months-only a few 5G-enabled devices are available.

It turns out that there is growing evidence that the 5G revolution may actually begin this year. In fact, a new report from Gartner states that global device shipments will actually increase by 0.9% in 2020 due to the advent of 5G equipment. This may seem trivial, but it is different from previous years. The reason for the decline in mobile phone sales in previous years is that users have been using the device longer than before.

Gartner senior research executive said: "2020 will witness a slight recovery in the market." "Improved availability of 5G mobile phones will promote mobile phone replacement, which will lead to global device shipments to resume growth in 2020."

Gartner estimates that by 2022, 5G models will account for 43% of all new mobile devices sold. As coverage increases and the price of 5G smartphones inevitably declines, adoption rates will naturally rise sharply. Gartner predicts that by 2023, 5G smartphones will account for 50% of all mobile phones shipped.

Although Gartner did not specifically mention the iPhone, there is no doubt that the most anticipated 5G device this year will be Apple's iPhone12. Scheduled for release this fall (probably in September if there are historical signs), Apple's 2020 iPhone lineup will include up to four 5G-enabled devices that will reportedly have frequencies below 6GHz and mmWave support.

At the same time, Samsung is also preparing to launch new 5G-enabled smartphones at the upcoming Unpacked event, including three next-generation Galaxy S20 devices.

All in all, 2020 will be an important year for a comprehensive upgrade. Although today's smartphone users are still reluctant to upgrade when their devices are working well, the appeal of 5G seems to change that.

No, your iPhone 12 or Samsung Galaxy S30 does not need a charger

The leak indicates that both Apple and Samsung are preparing to sell smartphones, such as the rumored iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S30, which have no packaging box or charging cable. Instead, these companies may require you to purchase a separate charger or use existing technology already at home. It turns out that this is split, because any manufacturer will lose a key part of its technology, but I believe this is the right approach. I think that manufacturers have taken more responsibility for the waste generated by ordinary people buying new technologies. Throwing unnecessary accessories into the box is a bigger step in bending electronic waste and exceeds your expectations. . According to trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 12 will not be equipped with EarPods headphones (cheap wired headphones that you can get for free), nor will it land in the box later this year. Shortly after the iPhone 12 rumors, another report indicated that Samsung is considering whether to adopt so...
