Developed by the team behind the Layers of Fear and Observer, the Blair Witch game is a first-person adventure game that emphasizes the atmosphere.
This independent Blair witch story is located in the infamous Black Mountain Forest near Burkittsville, allowing players to become a former policeman named Ellis.
With his trusted dog companion bullet, Ellis entered the forest as part of a search team for missing boys.
Needless to say, things take a long time to come.
Even if the review scores won't go online until August 30th, Express Online has a great feel for the Blair Witch game in the recent preview event.
The good news is that the Bloom team has completely killed the fear of your journey into the woods.
The branches under your feet, the wind on the trees and the rustling of the leaves constantly create a feeling of uneasiness.
A bark from the bullet is enough to let you escape in a blind panic, although good luck has found the way to leave the woods.
Like the original movie, the Blair Witch game works great in your imagination. This is not what you see that scares you, but what you hear.
So, unfortunately, the Bloomer team decided to add at least one flashlight battle section involving shadow ghosts hidden in the woods.
In order to nod to games like Alan Wake (and Luigi's Mansion), your only chance to survive is to point your flashlight at the phantom until they disappear.
I hope that these combat parts are kept to a minimum (or have a good explanation for them) because they are not very Blair Witchy.
More promising is the puzzle of the game, which may be the nod to the underrated shadow book, involving the use of cameras to influence the world around you.
When the comments fall on August 30, you can see how all the pieces fit together. Express Online will update this article as comments.
But perhaps the biggest mystery surrounding the Blair Witch game is why it only goes into Xbox One and PC.
Express Online asked Blair Witch developer Maciej Glomb if there is any chance to send the game to PS4 or Nintendo Switch.
Although Glomb doesn't have any announcements, it sounds like the Bloober Team will be interested.
"As far as I know, we are now paying attention to this date [August 30], but I will not expect anything," he said.
When discussing virtual reality, Glomb also had a similar reaction, acknowledging that although the Blair Witch game is very suitable, there is no plan yet.
When the finger crosses it will appear more platforms.
